Jordan Henderson has taken to Instagram to reveal that he was ‘accused of not being’ 100% at it in training by some Liverpool teammates yesterday.
What’s the story?
Well, the £140,000-a-week Liverpool captain has been mocked by Andy Robertson and Sadio Mané for being ‘stiff’ in training yesterday.
Specifically, Henderson posted a photo of himself, Robertson, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Mané in a rondo – the fancy name for keepball.
Clearly, the 31-year-old wasn’t at his sharpest at the AXA Training Centre yesterday, or else his teammates wouldn’t be ripping into him!
You can see what Mané and Robertson wrote on Instagram below.
By the sounds of it, Henderson did not set a captain’s example in training yesterday!
In all seriousness, the atmosphere around Liverpool right now seems electric – after an unbeaten start to the season, why shouldn’t it be?
Liverpool and Jordan Henderson must be ruthless

As aforesaid, the unbeaten start to the season has sparked huge positivity around Anfield after a worrying summer with little investment.
However, when plenty is going well, it’s vital for potential champions to scratch beneath the surface and find a negative to improve on.
In our view, one thing Henderson and Jürgen Klopp could look to work on is being ruthless.
Amazingly, Crystal Palace beat Manchester City on Saturday, providing Liverpool with a fantastic opportunity to steal some ground in the title race.

However, the Reds were not ruthless enough while 2-0 up against Brighton, and ended up throwing two points away as it finished 2-2.
Liverpool could’ve even lost the game, but Leandro Trossard’s late winner was ruled out.
If Klopp is going to beat Thomas Tuchel and Pep Guardiola to the Premier League title, his Liverpool side cannot do something like this again.
