Former Arsenal midfielder Stewart Robson does not seem to rate Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli too highly.

Robson, who played for Arsenal in the 1980s and made over 150 competitive appearances for the Gunners, expects Alli to play for the England national football team for a long time, but the former Coventry City man does not think that the Spurs midfielder will become a world-class player.
“I think he will be an England international for quite some while, but he is not going to be a world-class player,” Robson told ESPN FC when asked how good Alli is.

Alli’s performances so far this season have been disappointing, but there is no doubt that that Spurs youngster is one of the best young midfielders in Europe.
The development and progress of the former Milton Keynes Dons midfielder at Tottenham over the past two seasons have been stunning.

True, the 21-year-old needs to improve on his game and must also be more mature on the pitch, but he has been, without doubt, the best young player in the Premier League for the past two seasons.
Alli has scored two goals and provided one assist in seven Premier League appearances for Tottenham so far this season.
