Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool have been linked with the Fulham starlet.

Speaking to ESPN, Stewart Robson has offered his opinion on reported Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur target Ryan Sessegnon.
The 17-year-old is among the hottest English teenage talents out there following a fine season for Championship Fulham last term.

Tottenham and Liverpool have been linked, but ESPN reported on Thursday that the latter have pulled out of the race for his signature, perhaps paving the way for Spurs.
Nevertheless, ex-Arsenal man Robson says that the left-back is an “outstanding” talent but suggests that he could wind up in a more advanced role, similar to Gareth Bale during his time at White Hart Lane, if he joins the North Londoners.

“There’s talk about Tottenham,” said Robson to ESPN when asked about where Sessegnon’s future lies. “It sounds like Liverpool have pulled out of the race because they’re not convinced that he really wants to go to Liverpool.
“He’s an outstanding full-back, very, very quick. He gets on the overlap, gets crosses in, but I think he’s one for the future rather than now and I think Liverpool need a left-back that will go straight into their team.
“There’s talk that Tottenham might sign him and then progress him, just as they did with Gareth Bale a little while ago, and then take him to the next level.”
Tottenham have no shortage of fine young talents, but adding a youngster of Sessegnon’s calibre would only enhance the optimism surrounding Spurs’ future.
