Jack Ross’s Sunderland won against AFC Wimbledon in League One on Saturday.
Sunderland owner Stewart Donald has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to his side’s win against AFC Wimbledon.
The Black Cats got the better of AFC Wimbledon 2-1 away from home at the Cherry Red Records Stadium in League One on Saturday afternoon.
Jack Ross’s side came from a goal down to win 2-1 against Neal Ardley’s side, with midfielder Lee Cattermole scoring both the goals for the visiting team in the second half.
Sunderland owner Donald has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the win and has praised the team for successfully making a comeback yet again.
Donald wrote on Twitter: “Well done to Jack and the lads again today. To come from behind 3 times already this season and win is a good sign I think. Hope to see a bouncing stadium on Saturday! Enjoy your weekend everyone.”
Over the course of the 90 minutes at Cherry Red Records Stadium on Saturday afternoon, visitors Sunderland had 53% of the possession, took 10 shots of which five were on target, and earned four corners, according to BBC Sport.
The Black Cats are second in the League One table at the moment with 13 points from five matches, just two points behind leaders Peterborough United.
