The Sun has reported that Donald has rejected the chance to sell Sunderland to a mystery Malaysian buyer.
It has been claimed by the British tabloid that the mystery Malaysian buyer was willing to pay £20 million upfront for Sunderland, plus £25m over the next five years at the rate of around £5m a season, and a further £25m if the Black Cats returned to the Premier League.
Sunderland are playing in League One at the moment after getting relegated from the Championship at the end of last season.
Donald, though, has dismissed the speculation on Twitter, as the following posts from the Sunderland owner show.
