Steven Gerrard’s Glasgow Rangers reportedly want Jordan Jones at Ibrox this summer.
Rangers manager Steven Gerrard
Ibrox club Rangers are interested in signing Jones from Scottish Premiership rivals Kilmarnock in the summer transfer window, according to TEAMtalk.
It has been reported that Rangers are ready to make a bid of £500,000 for the 23-year-old midfielder.
Rangers’ Old Firm rivals Celtic, Swansea City, Sheffield United and Hull City are also claimed to be interested in the Northern Ireland international.
Former Rangers striker Thompson believes that Jones would be a good signing for Gerrard’s team in the summer transfer window.
Thompson said on BBC Sport Scotland Facebook Live about Jones to Rangers speculation: “It would certainly be, in my opinion, a decent signing if they were to go for Jordan Jones. His pace is incredible, and I think he would be a good signing.”

Good signing for Rangers?
Jones is a talented and promising young player, and the midfielder’s creativity and pace will be huge assets for Rangers.
Kilmarnock, though, are not going to be easy to deal with, as the Scottish Premiership side will not be willing to part company with one of their best players so late in the summer transfer window.
