Graeme Murty’s Glasgow Rangers will face Hamilton Academical at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership this afternoon.

The Gers will take on Hamilton at home in the league in a few hours’ time, and Thompson has backed Graeme Murty’s side to pick up all three points from the encounter.
Thompson has also backed 21-year-old striker Alfredo Morelos to score for the Gers.

Thompson said on the BBC Sport Scotland Facebook page on Friday: “I am going to go for a comfortable Rangers win.”
“I am tipping him to score tomorrow and break his duck, Morelos will score,” added Thompson.

Rangers are fourth in the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 24 points from 12 matches.
The Ibrox outfit are six points behind leaders and Old Firm rivals Celtic and are very much in the race for the runners-up spot.
Of course, mathematically it is still possible for Rangers to catch Brendan Rodgers’s side, but given the form that the Hoops are in at the moment, it is hard to see any team in Scotland give them a run for their moment.
Meanwhile, Hamilton are currently ninth in the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with only 12 points from 13 matches, just two points above the relegation zone.
