Allan McGregor is the man of the moment at Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers recently.

Former Rangers hitman Steven Thompson has praised Allan McGregor following his heroics against Maribor on Thursday.
The Gers’ goalkeeper saved a 90th-minute penalty from Marcos Tavares after previously making a point-blank stop to deny the Brazilian striker.
Steven Gerrard’s side drew 0-0 on the night and progressed 3-1 on aggregate, meaning that both of the Scot’s interventions were key in helping Rangers reach the playoff phase of Europa League qualifiers.
McGregor re-signed for the Ibrox side on a free transfer this summer, becoming one of 11 signings that Gerrard has made since taking the reins in Glasgow this summer.
Thompson played alongside the 36-year-old during his first spell at Ibrox, with McGregor spending 11 years in Rangers’ senior side until their financial issues in 2012.
And the former striker has labelled McGregor an “incredible signing” after observing his heroics.
“He’s been an incredible signing,” the 38-year-old told BBC Sport. “He’s a presence on and off the pitch, he’s an organiser and he’s as hungry as ever.
“He is a match-winner and gives the team a platform to stay in games and be successful.”
Gerrard made a big call in dropping Wes Foderingham but what a decision it is looking now, but fortune favours the brave.
