Rangers suffered a 1-0 loss to Old Firm rivals Celtic on Sunday.

Steven Thompson has claimed on BBC’s Sportscene that Rangers midfielder Ovie Ejaria was to blame as Olivier Ntcham put the finishing touch on an excellent Celtic counter attack.
Celtic earned a 1-0 win over Rangers in the first Old Firm derby of the season, as former Manchester City and Genoa star Ntcham continued his excellent form this season with the only goal of the game.
The Hoops broke from a corner, with Tom Rogic driving into the final third and finding Odsonne Edouard, who fed James Forrest. The latter then squared with his first touch to Ntcham, who tucked the ball past Allan McGregor.
But Thompson believes Liverpool loanee Ejaria is to blame as he stops tracking back when Forrest picks up the ball, allowing Ntcham to run free into the Rangers box and finish without challenge.
“Ejaria stops running here,” Thompson said. “If he kept his run going, he just switches off at the vital moment, he might have been able to block it. Despite the fact it was a foul at the start, it was a brilliant counter-attacking goal.”

Ejaria, 20, has started to show just why Gerrard has brought the England youth international to Ibrox, scoring against Motherwell before finding the back of the net in Russia against FC Ufa.
He is expected to start against Dundee after the international break, though the return of Lassana Coulibaly and Graham Dorrans could put his place in the side under threat.
