Everton got the better of West Ham 2-0 away from home at the London Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday evening.
Kurt Zouma, on loan from Chelsea, put the Toffees in the lead after just five minutes, and Bernard doubled the advantage for Marco Silva’s side on 33 minutes.
Former Everton star Pienaar was following the match, and he has taken to Twitter to revel in the win for the Merseyside outfit.
Over the course of the 90 minutes at the London Stadium on Saturday evening, hosts West Ham had 49% of the possession, took three shots of which one was on target, and earned four corners, according to BBC Sport.
Visitors Everton had 51% of the possession, took 17 shots of which nine was on target, and earned nine corners, according to BBC Sport.
The win against the Hammers means that Everton are now ninth in the Premier League table with 43 points from 32 matches.
