Steven Pienaar has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Everton’s win against Arsenal on Sunday afternoon.

Everton have got the better of Arsenal 1-0 at Goodison Park in the Premier League.

Phil Jagielka’s goal as early as the 10th minute proved to be the difference between the Toffees and the Gunners.

Former Everton star Pienaar has taken to Twitter to revel in the win for the Merseyside outfit, and he has also thanked Jagielka for his goal.

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Goodison Park on Sunday afternoon, hosts Everton had 43% of the possession, took 23 shots of which six were on target, and earned nine corners, according to BBC Sport.

Visitors Arsenal had 57% of the possession, took seven shots of which two were on target, and earned six corners, according to BBC Sport.

The result means that Everton are now ninth in the Premier League table, while Arsenal are currently fourth in the standings and are very much in the running for a Champions League.
