Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy seems to be rated highly by his Crystal Palace counterpart Steven Parish.

Parish has praised Levy for the impact he has had at Tottenham, and for making the North London club as big and efficient as they are right now.
Parish wrote in The Times: “We all know the narrative that haunted Spurs for years: decent players, soft team, never really challenged for the league but might win a cup. That changed when Daniel Levy took over.
“With hard work and acumen and the sensible backing of Joe Lewis, the club has been transformed to one with arguably the smartest transfer policy in football (do not spend any money at all; just make what you have better), the best youth system, probably the best training ground and now the world’s best stadium. It is the stuff every fan dreams of happening to their club.”

Credit where credit’s due
Levy has a reputation of not splashing the cash in transfer windows, but there is no doubt that Tottenham are where they are now mainly because of him.
The Spurs chairman does not like to pay over the odds for transfer targets, and he is also known to be a tough negotiator when it comes to other clubs signing players from the North London outfit.
Successful season
Tottenham have been very successful season, perhaps even more than the fans will have expected.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side have finished in the top four of the Premier League for the fourth year in row, and there have also reached the Champions League final where they will face Liverpool.
