Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers appear to be happy to allow Steven Naismith to move to Hearts.

Naismith suggested that moving to Rangers would be his first choice this month.
The 31-year-old said that he would take a pay cut to move back to Ibrox, with his Norwich City future in the balance.
He told the Daily Mail in December: “I still support Rangers and I want them to do well.

“When I come back to Scotland it’s not going to be about finances. It’ll be about what I think is the right fit for me. That’ll be the main thing.
“First of all, you need people at the clubs to want you and you need to see what options are available.
“A return to Rangers would appeal. I’ve spoken in the past about Kilmarnock and Rangers and being appreciative for what they did for me as a player.
“I would look at those clubs and see if they were options to start with.”
Rangers have so far decided against making a move for Naismith, which has led to Hearts having a free run to sign the attacker.

However, Rangers could live to regret that decision, if he does impress at Tynecastle.
Hearts are only set to sign Naismith on loan, but if he finds form, the experienced forward may not be too keen to uproot himself again at the end of the season.
And Rangers may now have missed out on their opportunity to bring the Scotland international back to Ibrox for a second spell.
Rangers have still been active this January, bringing in the likes of Jason Cummings and Russell Martin to add to their squad.
