Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers are said to be willing to offload both Jason Holt and Andy Halliday this summer.

Glasgow Rangers must be confident of landing targets in central midfield, if they feel happy to let Andy Halliday and Jason Holt go.
But Gerrard’s move would have to be considered a risk, unless Rangers are able to bring in some additions in central midfield themselves.

Holt made 33 appearances for Rangers last term, while Halliday showed his versatility towards the end of the campaign, when he filled in in a number of different positions.
Holt and Halliday may not be pivotal players for Rangers, but without the pair, the Light Blues’ current squad would look short in central midfield.

Jordan Rossiter simply cannot be relied upon to stay fit, while Graham Dorrans also had his fitness issues last term.
Although Rangers have brought in Ovie Ejaria, it seems likely that more central midfield additions could be targeted, if Gerrard is happy to let two members of his current squad leave this summer.
