Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers are linked with a £3 million move for Jake Cooper.

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has refused to be drawn on the speculation regarding defender Jake Cooper, but did admit that he wanted to sign a centre-back.
According to The Scottish Sun, Rangers are ‘confident’ of securing a deal for the £3 million-rated Millwall centre-half.
The Gers lost Bruno Alves today after his contract was mutually terminated, with the Portuguese veteran seemingly on the brink of joining Parma.
And although Gerrard admitted that he is in the market for another central defender, having already signed Connor Goldson and Nikola Katic, the Liverpool icon offered a blunt response when asked if it would be Cooper.
He told Rangers TV, when asked what areas he wants to improve: “Yes, a central defender.
On Cooper, Gerrard added: “I answered a question to yourself [the journalist] about speculation and I don’t like to add to speculation, especially when players belong to other clubs. I won’t be adding to any kind of speculation here.”
If nothing else, at least Gerrard admitted that Alves would be replaced and time will tell whether Cooper is the man to come in.
If not, you would hope that Rangers have other centre-back targets in mind, in the event that a deal for the English stalwart is not feasible.
Should it go through for the reported £3 million, it would mean that Gerrard has spent a whopping £8 million on central defenders this summer.
