Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers are reportedly set to bring in Steven Gerrard to replace Graeme Murty.

Gerrard is set to take the managerial job at Ibrox, according to reports, and a more aggressive approach is exactly what Rangers need.
Rangers took on Celtic last weekend in the Old-Firm derby and they were surprisingly passive throughout the contest.

With Graeme Murty in charge, Rangers have looked beaten before kick off when they have taken on Celtic.
There has been a lack of aggression and pressing throughout the matches with their Glasgow rivals.
But it sounds as if Rangers will be taking a more physical approach from now on, if Gerrard took charge.
The potential Light Blues boss previously said: “My teams will be physical. I hate watching footballers and football when there is no physical side and you don’t compete.”

Gerrard could arrive at Rangers in the coming days, in what would be his first managerial job.
Rangers are some way behind Celtic as things stand, and Gerrard will have a sizeable task on his hands to turn the Light Blues into title contenders again.
