Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers are said to be considering making a move for the Liverpool forward.

Glasgow Rangers boss Steven Gerrard is a massive admirer of Ben Woodburn, so it is no surprise to see the Liverpool striker is a transfer target of the Ibrox side.
Gerrard coached Woodburn this season, and made the young forward captain of his development side.
During his time with Woodburn, Gerrard was hugely impressed by the prospect’s form, and that could be the reason behind why the Welsh international is now reportedly on the Rangers boss’s shortlist.
“I haven’t just given Ben the captaincy because he is Ben Woodburn, he has got it on merit and he will lead by example in his performances,” Gerrard said to the Daily Mail in October.
“He has done that in training and he has also done it in the games so we are really happy for him.

“I am pleased with Ben because his attitude and mentality when he comes down to train at the academy is 10 out of 10. That gives everyone a lift.
“I think Ben needs to play at the moment so if Jurgen doesn’t need him at first-team level it’s an excellent opportunity to come and play with his friends who he came through the system with; be the captain and leader in this team and set the example.”
The Ibrox side are expected to be busy in the coming weeks, and it is anticipated that Gerrard could use his former contacts back at Liverpool to bring talent to Glasgow.

If Woodburn was to arrive at Rangers he would be an exciting addition to the Gers’ team, given his reputation.
Woodburn may not have played much at Liverpool recently, but he is regarded as one of their top prospects, and has scored goals at senior level for both club and country.
If Woodburn did join Rangers he would be in competition with the likes of Alfredo Morelos and Jamie Murphy for a first-team place next season.
