Gerrard told The Scottish Sun about Grezda: “Grezda has got it all to prove. He needs to push himself to prove to everyone he’s capable of being a Rangers player.
“First and foremost he needs to win a shirt because at the moment the players who played against Celtic have got the shirts and rightly so.”
The Liverpool legend added about Barisic: “Borna has shown that regularly when he’s played but we haven’t had him fit enough so he needs to get more robust.”

Grezda has struggled to make a huge impact at Rangers since his move from Osijek in the summer transfer window for a fee reported by The Daily Record to be worth £2 million.
According to Transfermarkt.com, the 23-year-old Albania international – who can operate as a winger or as an attacking midfielder – has made 10 appearances in the Scottish Premiership for Rangers so far this season, scoring two goals and providing one assist in the process.
Barisic – who joined Rangers from Osijek in the summer transfer window for a fee reported by The Daily Mail to be worth £2 million – has had injury issues, and the 26-year-old Croatia international has played just nine times in the league for the Gers so far this campaign, providing three assists in the process, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.
Rangers are second in the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 42 points from 21 matches, level on points with leaders and Old Firm rivals Celtic, who have played 20 games.
