Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has sent a strong message on Instagram regarding the Champions League final between Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.
Liverpool will take on Premier League rivals Tottenham in the final of the Champions League at Wanda Metropolitano in Madrid next weekend.
Gerrard, who was appointed the Rangers manager in the summer of 2018, led the Reds to the European crown in 2005.
Liverpool won the final against AC Milan much against the odds, and two years later in 2007, the Merseyside reached the final of the Champions League as well.
Gerrard has sent a rallying call on Instagram ahead of the final between Liverpool and Tottenham in Madrid.
Liverpool favourites
Liverpool have a better team than Tottenham and will head into the final in Madrid as favourites.
Moreover, having reached the final of the Champions League last season, Jurgen Klopp’s side will also think that they have more experience than Spurs.
However, the way Tottenham got past Manchester City and Ajax in the previous rounds is proof that they have what it takes to win against Liverpool in Madrid.
