Rangers beat Hearts 3-0 at Ibrox on Wednesday night.

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has told Rangers TV that he thought his players got ‘sloppy’ against Hearts last night – and admitted he could have predicted it.
The Gers were back in action on Wednesday night, looking to respond to Sunday’s 2-1 Old Firm defeat at Celtic in style against Hearts.
Rangers were superb in the first half, taking a 2-0 lead as Jermain Defoe and Connor Goldson struck to put Gerrard’s men clear by the break.
Scott Arfield added a third in the second half, showing that Rangers really can win and rack up goals even without star striker Alfredo Morelos.
After a patchy run of form, Rangers got back to winning ways last night, and will now be hoping to kick on again for a strong end to the season.
It was at least the ideal response to Sunday’s chaos, but Gerrard admitted that he felt Rangers were ‘sloppy’ in the final 20 minutes, even though their game management was great.

Gerrard noted that he actually could have predicted the late sloppiness having given so much with 10 men at Celtic, so let his players off for their late decline.
“We came off the gas a little bit at 2-0, but obviously we were pleased with the clean sheet at half time, and the lead we had,” said Gerrard. “I thought our game management was really good tonight.”
“We got sloppy in the last 20 minutes, but I’d have probably predicted that before the game, with the shift the lads put in at Celtic Park with 10 men. I’ll give them the sloppiness in the last 20, but in the main I’m very pleased.
