Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has spoken about his intentions for the rest of the transfer window.

The Gers have already had a busy transfer window, completing a permanent deal for last season’s loanee Steven Davis as well as adding another seven to the squad.
With improvements from defence through to attack, Gerrard and the recruitment team at Ibrox have wasted no time in building a squad they think can compete for trophies next season.
They’re not quite done yet though, with the Gers boss telling The Daily Record: “We’re nearly complete in terms of the squad we are trying to build. There will not be much more activity there – maybe one.”
Well stocked in a number of positions, it’s unclear where Gerrard would like to make a signing.
At left-back there is a lack of natural cover for Borna Barisic with the right-sided Jon Flanagan and midfielder Andy Halliday performing those duties last season.
The midfield area is jam packed too and with four central defenders now competing for two spots in the defensive line, there’s also a lack of urgency there.

Could the Rangers manager be looking for something in attack?
Kyle Lafferty hasn’t featured in pre-season and looks to be on his way out of the club and despite the addition of Greg Stewart, perhaps another striker could add fresh ideas and competition in the final third.
There’s also the tantalising prospect of potentially adding Ryan Kent to the squad on loan from Liverpool for the second successive season.
With plenty of time until the end of the Scottish transfer window, the Gers can afford to bide their time and pick up the right man, whoever that may be.
