Rangers drew 0-0 away at Hibernian on Wednesday night.

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has waxed lyrical about Ross McCrorie, telling the club’s official YouTube channel that his performance against Hibernian was ‘stunning’.
The Gers travelled to Easter Road on Wednesday night to take on Neil Lennon’s Hibernian side, having squeezed past Hamilton Academical with a 1-0 win on Sunday afternoon to go top of the Scottish Premiership table.
Steven Gerrard’s men will have been keen to win last night in order to keep top spot, but they endured a frustrating evening in Edinburgh whilst Celtic beat Motherwell 3-0.
Hibs were forced into an early change with goalkeeper Ofir Marciano substituted for Adam Bogdan, but the Hungarian proved to be the star of the show with a series of great saves.
Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos was left frustrated having wasted a number of chances, and whilst Rangers played well, it simply wasn’t to be their night.
A number of Rangers players impressed, but holding midfielder McCrorie really settled into the game well after coming on for the injured Scott Arfield at half time.

After the game, Gerrard was clearly blown away by McCrorie’s display, claiming he was ‘unbelievable’ and ‘stunning’, whilst also urging him to believe in himself more on the ball.
“Unbelievable,” said Gerrard. “We’re just telling Ross to back himself, he’s going to regain loads of balls, he’s an excellent footballer out of possession. He needs to back himself in possession, if he does, he finds performances like tonight. He was excellent, he did exactly what we wanted from him, it was a stunning performance,” he added.
