Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers are still unbeaten in European competition so far this season.

Eros Grezda of Rangers shoots at goal during the Betfred Scottish League Cup Quarter Final match between Rangers and Ayr United on September 26, 2018 in Glasgow, Scotland.

Glasgow Rangers’ Eros Grezda now has the perfect opportunity to nail down his place in Steven Gerrard’s starting line-up, with Ryan Kent out injured.

Kent is set to be out of action for Rangers until the end of the international break.

And Grezda should now be handed the chance to stake his claim for a first-team place.

Grezda has only started once for Rangers since he arrived at Ibrox in the summer, despite coming with a big reputation.

The wide-man was one of Osijek’s outstanding talents, and although he hasn’t shown his top form at Rangers yet, Gerrard should give the 23-year-old his big chance.

Rangers are set to take on Spartak Moscow in the Europa League this evening, with Gerrard’s side looking to keep up their good form in Europe.

Grezda could be ideally suited to the match, as his pace could give Rangers a really dangerous option on the counter attack.

And Gerrard should unleash Grezda over the coming weeks, in the hope that he can live up to his billing when he arrived at Ibrox.
