Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers were beaten 2-1 in their last outing.

Rangers were beaten 2-1 by Celtic in their most recent outing, and the Ibrox side were the orchestrators of their own downfall.
Rangers had competed well with 10 men, after Alfredo Morelos was sent off, but James Tavernier’s errors was punished by James Forrest to secure the three points for Celtic.
And Gerrard was pleased to see his Rangers team show so much frustration at full-time.
“I saw a different reaction in the dressing room after the Old Firm,” the Rangers boss said. “I saw a very disappointed and flat reaction the first time we went.
“After this one, I saw in the players that the majority of them fancy it. I want to see that till the end of the season. I want to see people who roll their sleeves up and say ‘let’s carry this on, try to finish strong and continue building for next year’.”

Rangers’ defeat against Celtic has left them trailing their Glasgow rivals by 13 points in the race for the title.
Rangers’ hopes of lifting the title are now surely over, and they are now under pressure to end their run of poor form.
Gerrard’s side are winless in five matches, and some of their recent performances have been concerning, even though they put in an improved display at Parkhead.
Rangers are next in action later this evening when they take on Hearts at Ibrox.
