Ibrox club Rangers signed Kent on a season-long loan deal from Premier League club Liverpool in the summer transfer window.
The 21-year-old winger played arguably his best game for Rangers so far this season against Dundee at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday afternoon.
The former England Under-20 international winger started the match and played for 65 minutes, as the Gers got the better of Dundee 4-0.
Rangers manager Gerrard has praised Kent, and the Liverpool legend has also revealed what the youngster has been concerned about his game recently..
Gerrard told The Scottish Sun about Kent: “I think Ryan has been overly concerned with his numbers within his own game.
“I had a chat with him a couple of days ago and said ‘Relax. It will happen. Keep doing what you’re doing’.”

Kent is a hugely talented and promising young winger, and the Liverpool-owned winger’s performance against Dundee showed what the Ibrox faithful can expect from him.
The Englishman will be a key player for Rangers this season, as the Gers aim to challenge Old Firm rivals Celtic for the Scottish Premiership title as well as make an impact in the Europa League.
