Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers midfielder Graham Dorrans is on the sidelines at the moment.
Rangers manager Steven Gerrard
Dorrans has suffered with ankle and knee injures since his move to Scottish Premiership club Rangers from Norwich City in the Championship in England in the summer of 2017 for a transfer fee reported by The Scottish Sun to be worth £1.5 million.
According to The Scottish Sun, the 31-year-old midfielder will be on the sidelines until the New Year after undergoing an operation.
Rangers manager Gerrard, though, has made it clear that the Ibrox club will try to help the former West Bromwich Albion midfielder get over his injury problems.
Gerrard told The Scottish Sun about Dorrans: “The diagnosis is that Graham, alongside the medical department and the surgeon, have decided the best course of action is for him to go and have more surgery.
“He has had an operation on his knee and he will be missing until after Christmas, which is disappointing for him and for us. We won’t give up on him, we will give him the support.”

Rangers future
Dorrans is a very good midfielder, and it would make sense for Rangers to keep faith in the Scotland international.
True, injuries are affecting the impact that the 31-year-old could make for the Gers, but once he gets fully fit and gets back to his best, then he will be an asset for Rangers.
