Greg Docherty looks set to stay with Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers for the upcoming season.

Steven Gerrard has told The Scottish Herald that Greg Docherty has returned to Rangers a totally different player this summer.
The 22-year-old was deemed surplus to requirements by Gerrard at Ibrox last year and was ultimately loaned to Shrewsbury Town in League One.
But the Rangers-mad midfielder impressed down South and netted 10 goals for Salop en route to winning their Player of the Year award.
Docherty dazzled in the light Blues’ 6-0 Europa League qualifying win over St Joseph’s of Gibraltar in Glasgow on Thursday night.
And Gerrard, speaking to The Scottish Herald, asserts that the Scot has come on leaps and bounds over the past 12 months.
“He has come back a different man. He has matured a lot from his experience, going out of his comfort zone, living away from his family, living up to the expectation of being a Rangers player on loan.
“He won Player of the Year and had a real positive loan. I think Shrewsbury did a fantastic job with him. On the evidence of what I’ve seen since day one of pre-season, he looks a different player and a different person.”
Docherty is mad about the Ibrox club and he’ll need to remain hungry throughout the season because, well, Gerrard has a ridiculous amount of quality midfielders at his disposal.
If the youngster is going to succeed at his boyhood club, hunger is of paramount importance. The more he shows, the more Gerrard will play him.
