Steven Gerrard seems to rate Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold highly.

Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has told The Daily Mail that Liverpool and England international defender Trent Alexander-Arnold is going to get better.

Liverpool legend Gerrard, who was recently appointed as the Rangers manager, has been impressed with the progress made by the 19-year-old right-back, who is part of the England squad at the 2018 World Cup finals in Russia this summer.

Gerrard told The Daily Mall about Alexander-Arnold: “He is a beauty and he is going to get better. I’ve got no doubt he’ll get many England caps. No doubt at all.”

Quality footballer

Alexander-Arnold is one of the best young defenders in Europe, and the right-back has progressed well this past campaign.

The 19-year-old has established himself as a key player in Jurgen Klopp’s side, and he seems to have made the right-back spot this own.

The England international still needs to improve and develop, but the youngster certainly has a bright future ahead of him.
