The Rangers boss is a big fan of the Liverpool stars.

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard spoke to reporters yesterday, and offered high words of praise for Liverpool duo Alisson Becker and Virgil van Dijk, suggesting that he would love to have played alongside the pair, as quoted by the Times.
The Reds have been superb this season, and they are arguably the best defensive outfit in Europe – something that would have seemed almost improbable last season.
Klopp brought Alisson and Van Dijk to Liverpool for a combined £140 million, and the Brazilian and Dutch stars have really transformed the Merseyside outfit.
And Gerrard admitted that he is a huge fan of the Reds duo, when speaking to reporters yesterday, suggesting that they have both improved Klopp’s side immensely, as quoted by the Times:

“To spend the amount of money they have on Alisson and Virgil van Dijk has improved Liverpool immensely. I would have loved to have played with those two players.”
If Liverpool are to win the Premier League title this season, Alisson and Van Dijk will have to be on their very best form between now and May.
And if the Reds go on to do just that, the £140 million spent on the defensive duo will look like very good business indeed for the Merseyside outfit.
