Rangers were very disappointing on Sunday afternoon, only managing to draw 1-1 away at Hamilton Academical.
The Gers were flat and uninspired at New Douglas Park, and it took a Brian Easton own goal to give Rangers a late lead.
Ross Callachan scored in the dying embers to give Hamilton a share of the spoils, leaving Steven Gerrard disappointed.
He handed starting roles to a couple of fringe players, with Bongani Zungu featuring in midfield and Cedric Itten leading the attack.
Neither player could really make the desired impact, leaving Gerrard to admit to The Scottish Sun that it was hard to find positives with either player and with the Rangers team as a whole.
“It is hard to find positives, not just with Cedric or Zungu,” said Gerrard. “They are the guys people look to as they were brought into the side. Outside of the subs and Allan McGregor we need more.”
“It wasn’t acceptable as a group. We’ve got fans watching and we haven’t given them a performance to be happy about,” he added.

Summer signing Itten has been a fine impact substitute, and that may end up being his role moving forward having struggled as a starter.
Zungu really hasn’t made an impact since arriving from Amiens, and with Gerrard’s midfield already stacked thanks to the likes of Steven Davis, Ryan Jack, Joe Aribo and Glen Kamara, Sunday’s display could really damage him.
Whether the pair start again any time soon remains to be seen, but it’s clear that Gerrard wasn’t too impressed – even if he tried to focus on the team as a whole.
