Glasgow Rangers winger Sheyi Ojo is not being ruled out of their upcoming Europa League clash at Ibrox.

Steven Gerrard has told Rangers TV that a late decision will be made on Sheyi Ojo’s fitness ahead of Rangers’ Europa League qualifier with Legia Warsaw at Ibrox, but suggested that the winger has made progress.
Ojo picked up a knock during the first-leg of their play-off tie and missed the weekend’s win over St Mirren. They may not have missed the Liverpool-owned youngster in that victory, but this is going to be a very important week for the Gers.
After facing Legia in the second-leg on Thursday, Rangers will start preparing for the first Old Firm game of the season. And the good news for the Light Blues is that Ojo appears to be edging closer to returning to full fitness, with Gerrard hinting that he stands a chance of being involved against the Polish side.
“Sheyi managed to go out this morning. He seems okay but he’ll be checked to see there’s no reaction later on and in the morning. So we’ll make a late decision on Sheyi. Besides that, I think we’re okay and pretty healthy,” he told Rangers TV as he provided a fitness update on his side.

It would be a big boost for Rangers to have Ojo back for the next two games. He has scored four goals in eight games for the Scottish Premiership side, including three in Europe already.
He has already shown that he has the potential to be the kind of game-changer that fills the void that Ryan Kent left following the end of his loan spell north of the border last season.

And Kent arguably saved his very best performances for the Old Firm games, raising his levels to produce moments of magic that really sent a message to their rivals.
Ojo could ensure that he is as popular with the Rangers supporters if he is able to return and makes an impact that helps take the side into the Europa League group-stages and then sees Gerrard’s men snatch the bragging rights against Celtic on Sunday.
