Glasgow Rangers winger Daniel Candeias scored the winner for Steven Gerrard’s side at Ibrox on Sunday.

Gerrard was pleased with the performance of Candeias for Rangers against Heart of Midlothian at Ibrox on Sunday afternoon.
The 30-year-old winger scored the only goal of the Scottish Premiership game as early as the third minute.
Rangers manager Gerrard was pleased with the performance of the Portuguese winger, who joined the Gers from Benfica in the summer of 2017 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £700,000.
Gerrard told Rangers’ official website: “Daniel is a big player for us, I thought especially in the first 15-20 minutes his energy certainly helped and he is adding goals to his game for us which is a big help.
“We can’t be over reliant on certain people so I am really pleased with Daniel today, we moved him inside the pitch to try and find that little bit of quality but it wasn’t to be.
“To have him back available is a big help to me and also having his mate (Alfredo Morelos) back through the week is a big help as well.”

Big player
Candeias is one of the best and most important players for Rangers and has been playing well for the Gers this season.
So far this campaign, the winger scored three goals and provided two assists in 12 Scottish Premiership appearances for the Gers, according to Transfermarkt.com.
Rangers are at the top of the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 34 points from 17 matches.
Celtic are just a point behind the Gers and have a game in hand over their bitter Old Firm rivals.
