Rangers forward Kyle Lafferty did not have a great game against Livingston at Ibrox on Saturday afternoon.
Lafferty played for 62 minutes and failed to score, as Rangers won the Scottish Premiership game 3-0.
The 31-year-old Northern Ireland international forward missed a very good chance.
Rangers manager Steven Gerrard, though, was pleased with the shift put in by Lafferty, and has underlined his work rate.
Gerrard told Rangers’ official website: “A special mention goes to Kyle Lafferty too – he did all the ugly work, running about, holding it up, taking the bumps, taking the knocks and making sure the defenders get tired.”
Over the course of the 90 minutes at Ibrox on Saturday afternoon, hosts Rangers had 57% of the possession, took 18 shots of which six were on target, and earned eight corners, according to BBC Sport.

The win against Livingston means that Rangers are now second in the Scottish Premiership table with 27 points from 13 matches, just two points behind leaders and bitter Old Firm rivals Celtic.
Lafferty has four goals in 10 Scottish Premiership appearances for Rangers so far this season, according to Transfermarkt.com.
The former Norwich City forward returned to Rangers in the summer transfer window for his second spell at Ibrox.
