Glasgow Rangers duo Scott Arfield and Connor Goldson were in action for Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox club at the weekend.

Midfielder Arfield started for Rangers in their goalless draw with Kilmarnock away from home at Rugby Park in the fifth round of the Scottish Cup this past Saturday afternoon and played for 83 minutes.
Defender Goldson also started the tie, and the 26-year-old former Brighton and Hove Albion central defender played for the entire 90 minutes.
Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has hailed Goldson, and he has also outlined just how hard 30-year-old Arfield worked for the Gers.
Gerrard told The Daily Record: “Scott Arfield is like the walking wounded. He’s got a couple of dead legs and some tightness.
“Most players wouldn’t have pulled through or me today but Scotty and Connor Goldson in particular dug deep.
“Some of them are giving me more than I should be asking for and I’m really pleased about that.”
