Glasgow Rangers manager Steven Gerrard was pleased with Liverpool-owned Ibrox winger Ryan Kent’s performance for the Gers.

Kent, who joined Rangers on loan from Liverpool in the summer transfer window, featured for the Gers in their Scottish Premiership game against Livingston this past Sunday.
The 21-year-old winger came on as a substitute at the start of the second half and played well for the Gers, as they lost 1-0.
Rangers manager Gerrard has praised the performance of Kent, as well as the displays produced by 30-year-old winger Gers Daniel Candeias and 26-year-old right-back James Tavernier.
When asked if he could take any positives from the match, Gerrard told Rangers’ official website: “Ryan Kent. I thought the 45 minutes when he came on, he was the one who was trying to open the door and he is the one who looked dangerous.
“But no, I don’t think so. [Daniel] Candeias did okay and Tav [James Tavernier] did okay.”

Encouraging
Kent has been playing well for Rangers so far this season, and Gerrard’s comments about the youngster will encourage the Liverpool fans.
The 21-year-old Liverpool-owned winger has scored one goal in six Scottish Premiership appearances for Rangers so far this campaign, according to Transfermarkt.com.
The youngster is going to be get better in the coming weeks and months.
