Ryan Kent scored Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers’ goal during their match yesterday.

Rangers were beaten 2-1 by Celtic at Parkhead in heartbreaking circumstances, as they put up such a good fight with ten men.
Rangers had matched Celtic for much of the second half despite their numerical disadvantage, with Kent scoring Gerrard’s men’s goal.
At that stage Rangers looked to be on their way to claiming a well earned point, but Celtic hit a late winner to devastate the Light Blues.
Rangers could still take some solace from the performance they put in though.
And Gerrard was full of praise for Kent in particular at full-time.
The Rangers boss said: “He was excellent. It’s been in the papers all week about how he’s worth about £12m and it’s because of performances like that.

“I’m glad he’s getting that recognition. He was outstanding.
“When you are looking for people and asking who’s with me, when the challenge is more difficult at 10 men, to a man they were all with me.
“They were all with the fans, with Rangers. Ryan Kent stood out amongst that. He’s just a quality player.”
Rangers will almost certainly look into the possibility of snapping Kent up on a permanent transfer when his loan expires, as he has had an excellent season at Ibrox.
Whether it will be possible to do a deal with Liverpool remains to be seen though, as he could be out of their price range.
Rangers’ defeat to Celtic yesterday has left them trailing Neil Lennon’s side by 13 points in the race for the Scottish Premiership title.
