Rangers may not be looking for too many more Ibrox arrivals.

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has told Rangers TV that he’s happy with his squad – but a hint about a new midfielder may quickly pay off.
The Gers have been busy in the transfer market this summer, landing Filip Helander, George Edmundson, Steven Davis, Joe Aribo, Greg Stewart, Jake Hastie, Sheyi Ojo, Jordan Jones and, mostly recently, Brandon Barker.
So far, results have been impressive, winning both league games so far this term whilst also producing some superb displays in the Europa League qualifiers.
Some fans may be keen on a new left back or a new striker, especially the latter after Kyle Lafferty’s exit, but Gerrard doesn’t appear to be planning much more business.
Today, Gerrard suggested that he’s not looking to strengthen any position right now, as he’s really happy with the squad, but may be tempted to dip back into the market if a bargain appears.
Gerrard did though hint that another midfielder is on his radar, claiming he’s still debating such a move as he would like to have two players for each position.
“I’m not,” said Gerrard. “I’m happy, I think we’ve made enough signings, we’re really happy with how the squad is shaping up. If something unique happens or changes, or someone comes and takes one of my players, that could change things, if there’s a bargain before the window shuts – it would have to be a real big bargain – then we might go back in, but at the moment, everything is okay.”

“I’m debating whether we need one more (midfielder), because I like two players in each position, but at the moment I’m satisfied with the five, but that could change.”
Just hours after Gerrard’s comments, Rangers appear to be on the verge of signing that midfielder, as The Herald report that a deal for Leicester City ace Andy King is close to being done.
That would give Gerrard his two in each position; Davis, Aribo, Glen Kamara, Ryan Jack, Greg Docherty and King for three midfield roles, whilst suggesting that Scott Arfield will be playing further forward for good.
