The Ibrox boss was speaking after Rangers’ match on Sunday.

The Gers found it difficult from the off at Tynecastle, losing a goal within ten minutes.
Despite equalising just before the interval, the away side couldn’t find their way to three points and fell back into second place in the Scottish Premiership table.
For Gerrard, the team’s attitude to the match was a huge disappointment. He’s now concerned ahead of the team’s visit to Portugal on Thursday night.
As quoted by The Scottish Sun, he said: “If you start games like we did today, you’re going to have big problems.
“If we start like that against Porto, we could be in big trouble. We need to start the game better.
“It’s about mentality. It’s that realisation of the opportunity you’ve got to win a football match.”
Should Rangers fear Porto?
After losing 2-1 to Young Boys in the Europa League last time out, the jury is out on whether this Rangers team can pick up results away from home in Europe at this group stage level.
Porto have won nine of their last ten fixtures, just one point off the top of the Primeira Liga.
Perhaps encouragingly for Rangers though their one defeat came against Feyenoord, who didn’t look particularly impressive at Ibrox recently.
The Gers should also take hope from their point against Villarreal last year.

However, Gerrard is spot on with his comments. If his team turn up in a passive manner against the star studded Portuguese outfit they’re in for a long night.
The home side will have the firepower that can create chances and punish mistakes.
The Gers boss’ problem is whether he can inspire his side to reach new heights and whether he can get his team selection spot on.
It’ll be a fascinating evening.
