Rangers duo Borna Barisic and Eros Grezda appear to be fighting for their Ibrox futures.

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has told The Herald that he doesn’t think Borna Barisic and Eros Grezda have really taken his words on board.
The Gers were busy in the transfer market last summer, and after signing defender Nikola Katic from Slaven Belupo, they dipped back into the Croatian market.
After playing against Osijek in the qualifiers for the Europa League, Rangers swooped to snap up left back Barisic, who impressed in the two-legged tie.
Surprisingly, Rangers then went back to sign another Osijek player. They landed winger Grezda in a big-money deal, even though the Albanian international was actually ruled out against Rangers through injury.
Both players arrived as full internationals who starred in Croatia, but they’ve found life tougher in Scotland, leading to criticism throughout the campaign.
Barisic has started just 13 league games this season, whilst Grezda has barely been seen in 2019, and has just seven league starts to his name under Gerrard.

The pair featured in a behind-closed-doors game against Liverpool’s Under-23’s last week, but played their part in going 4-0 down at half time, which may just end their Rangers careers.
Gerrard has now hinted that the pair may be done at Ibrox, suggesting that he hasn’t seen anything of late to suggest that the pair have taken his criticism on board, and with no time for passengers at Ibrox, Barisic and Grezda may well be flogged.
“I’m not here to speak about individual players but I’ve already spoken about them a while ago,” said Gerrard. “Have I seen anything in the interim to show me they’ve taken it on board? Well, one’s been injured but have they played in the starting 11? Not much, so that’s the answer to your question. Unfortunately, there were a lot of players when I came into the club who were holding Rangers back. And there’s still some around. At the right time, I’ll address that,” he added.
