Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers have also been linked with a host of players since Steven Gerrard took charge.

Steven Gerrard is unveiled as the new manager of Rangers football Club at Ibrox Stadium on May 4, 2018 in Glasgow, Scotland.

With Steven Gerrard’s transfer targets starting to become clearer at Glasgow Rangers it seems that he is targeting a mix of youth and experience to bring to Ibrox.

Rangers have been linked with six new players already, with Gerrard lining up plenty of deals for the Glasgow side.

And there seems to be a great blend of youthful experience and knowhow in the new Rangers’ boss’s targets.

The Scottish Sun reported yesterday how Rangers were lining up a triple swoop for Lucas Leiva, Martin Skrtel and Jermain Defoe.

Lucas Leiva of SS Lazio in action during the serie A match between ACF Fiorentina and SS Lazio at Stadio Artemio Franchi on April 18, 2018 in Florence, Italy.

If the trio arrived they would be able to offer Rangers great experience of playing at the top level in both club and international football.

They could also offer wonderful guidance to Rangers’ other potential signings.

The Sun claim that Rangers want Reece Burke and Connor Goldson, who are both considered stars of tomorrow.

Oliver McBurnie has also been linked to a switch to Scotland, with Rangers offering £4 million for the striker, according to The Sun.

And if Rangers could complete the six transfers, then the Light Blues’ squad would look perfectly designed to deliver success.
