Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers have a potential gem in Ryan Hardie out on loan, but Steven Gerrard says he may be coming back.

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has confirmed to The Scottish Sun that he might recall Ryan Hardie from his loan spell this month.
Rangers have the option of bringing the 21-year-old striker back to Ibrox.
Hardie has been at Livingston this season but despite injury causing him to miss most of the campaign so far, he has still managed five goals in his last seven Premiership starts.
That kind of form suggests that he is a better option than Kyle Lafferty to provide competition for 20-goal marksman Alfredo Morelos at the Gers.
And here is what Gerrard told The Scottish Sun about bringing him back to Glasgow: “It’s a possibility that we might recall Ryan in January.
“It’s one that we’re discussing inhouse at the moment, but haven’t made a final decision on.
“He’s a player I like. I haven’t seen too much of him because he’s had a lot of injuries at Rangers, but I’ve been really impressed with his recent performances for Livingston.”

Even if it’s not Hardie, Rangers need an upgrade on Lafferty.
The Northern Irishman has gone off the boil in a big way since returning to Ibrox last summer, and hasn’t scored a goal for the Gers since September.
Common sense says that Morelos will endure a rough spell at some point this season, and Rangers’ title hopes could hinge on how Gerrard’s side handle that period.
Is Lafferty going to come in and score a lot of goals if the Colombian is out of form? It seems unlikely.
