Rangers defender James Tavernier is one of the best right-backs in the Scottish Premiership, and there is no surprise that Everton, Burnley and Swansea City all are reported to be interested in the Ibrox star.
The 26-year-old former Newcastle United right-back was one of the best players for Rangers last season, as he scored eight goals and provided eight assists in 38 Scottish Premiership matches, according to Transfermarkt.com.

Interest from England
Premier League duo Everton, Burnley and Championship club Swansea are interested in signing Tavernier from Rangers in the summer transfer window, according to The Mirror (click here to read more).
With new Rangers manager Steven Gerrard signing Jon Flanagan on a free transfer following the full-back’s departure from Liverpool at the end of last season, many Ibrox fans will wonder whether Tavernier will be sold.

Liverpool legend Gerrard, though, has made it clear that Flanagan has not been signed by the Gers to replace the 26-year-old former Wigan Athletic right-back, which should allow Rangers fans’ worries and suggest that he will stay at Ibrox next season despite reported interest.
Gerrard told The Scottish Sun: “If you look at our two attacking full-backs they are very good at what they do, but in certain games we’ll need to go a different way.
“We can’t just attack and go gung-ho against every single team. Sometimes we’ll need to stiffen it up and go a bit safer, and Jon gives us that option.
“He’s well aware of why I’ve brought him in. Some of the challenges I’ll be giving to him will be different. He hasn’t come in to fight for Tavernier’s place or Declan John’s.”
