Speculation suggested that former Manchester United starlet Ravel Morrison could join Scottish Premiership powerhouses Rangers this month.

Speculation arose this week suggesting that Ravel Morrison could be set to continue his nomadic career at Rangers.
The former Manchester United starlet took to Instagram this week and followed a number of Rangers players, not to mention manager Steven Gerrard. As a result, some fans wondered whether Morrison was on his way to Ibrox before the end of the month.
But Gerrard gave short shrift to the rumours in his Friday press conference, playing down suggestions of a move for either Morrison or Liverpool’s seldom-seen midfielder Adam Lallana.
“There’s no truth in either,” the former Anfield skipper told The Mirror.
It seems that many Rangers fans were willing to give Morrison the chance to get a hugely underwhelming career back on track in Glasgow and this speaks volumes about the 25-year-old’s ability.

Morrison’s technical skills have never been in question with some stellar performances for West Ham United, including a remarkable solo goal against Tottenham Hotspur in 2013, still fresh in the memory.
But the former England U21 international has fallen some way short of his undoubted potential, making only four Serie A appearances for Lazio since joining four years ago. Morrison spent last season on loan at Mexican outfit Las Palmas.
