Rangers manager Gerrard has admitted that he was disappointed that his side failed to keep a clean sheet against Hearts.

Gerrard told Rangers’ official website: “There are a lot of positives to take from the game. I thought we were strong from start to finish and we stood up to Hearts.

“You know when you come to Tynecastle they are going to be physical with you and the big guy up front tries to back in, lean and foul, and they can be awkward at times and try to rely on set-pieces and mistakes you give them.

“We nearly got the perfect performance, it’s just a bit disappointing we never kept a clean sheet at the end.”
