Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has suggested to The Express that he will not sign any player today.
The summer transfer window comes to a close today, and Rangers boss Gerrard has suggested that it is unlikely that he will make any new additions.
The Liverpool legend has said that a few players will leave the Gers today, with The Scotsman naming Jake Hastie, Jamie Murphy, Eros Grezda, Graham Dorrans, Jason Holt and Joe Dodoo as the ones who could leave.
Gerrard told The Express: “There will be a few that move on I would imagine. Mark Allen’s phone will be really busy, I can’t give you anything on it at the moment.”
The Rangers boss added: “In terms of incomings it will be out of the blue if something happened.”

No need for new additions?
Rangers have been quite busy in the summer transfer window and have signed a number of players, including Joe Aribo, Filip Helander, Brandon Barker and Jordan Jones.
The Gers are well stocked in all areas, except maybe at left-back. Borna Barisic has not exactly been great in the role, while Jon Flanagan is not a natural left-back and Andy Halliday is a midfielder by trade.
However, it is not going to be easy for Rangers to find a quality left-back on the final day of the summer transfer window.
