Alfredo Morelos played well for Steven Gerrard’s Glasgow Rangers at Ibrox on Thursday.
Alfredo Morelos of Rangers
Gerrard was impressed with the performance of Morelos during Rangers’ 1-0 win against Feyenoord at Ibrox in the Europa League on Thursday evening.
The 23-year-old Colombia international striker did not score, but the youngster was a constant nuisance for the Dutch team’s defence.
The striker came close to scoring twice, and his runs and movement caused all sorts of problems for the Feyenoord defenders.
Gerrard has raved about Morelos, but he is disappointed that the striker could not get a goal.
Gerrard told The Scottish Sun about Morelos: “I thought he was unplayable. I thought he caused them endless problems and his hold-up play was fantastic. The only thing his performance didn’t have tonight was a goal.”

Encouraging result
Rangers had a lot of chances against Feyenoord, and the Gers should have won by a bigger margin.
The final result is still brilliant, as it enhances the Ibrox club’s chances of progressing to the knockout rounds of the Europa League.
Morelos is one of the best strikers in the Scottish Premiership, and the 23-year-old will be important for Rangers in their quest to win the league title this season.
