Liverpool winger Steven Gerrard was on loan at Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers in 2018-19.
Ryan Kent at Rangers
The Ibrox club recently signed 22-year-old winger Sheyi Ojo on loan from Liverpool this summer.
Jack Hastie has also moved to Rangers this summer after agreeing a pre-contract with the Gers back in January 2019.
Rangers seem to have done well in terms of adding quality and depth to their wide areas, but Gers manager Gerrard has said that he wants to bring Kent back to Ibrox as well.
Gerrard, though, has admitted that it is Liverpool who will have the final say on the future of the 22-year-old winger.
Kent spent the 2018-19 campaign on loan at Rangers from Liverpool, and scored six goals in 25 Scottish Premiership starts for the Gers, according to WhoScored.
Gerrard told The Daily Mail: “Yes we would like Ryan back but the reality is he’s Liverpool’s player so we have to respect that. Jurgen Klopp I’m sure will want to take a look at Ryan but we are at the table.
“We love the player, we felt we did a good job with him for 12 months and feel there’s more to come on the job we’d like to do with him.
“We’re progressing in terms of our targets and the squad is close to being finished – but we’re not finished just yet.”

Back to Rangers
Kent did well for Rangers this past season, and the winger would be a valuable addition to Gerrard’s squad for the 2019-20 campaign.
However, Liverpool could decide to cash in on the 22-year-old winger this summer, and use that money to invest in a better and more established footballer.
