The Gers have agreed pre-contract agreements with 20-year-old Hastie and 24-year-old Jones.
While Scotland Under-21 international winger Hastie will join Rangers in the summer transfer window after leaving Motherwell, Northern Ireland international winger Jones will switch to the Gers after parting company with Kilmarnock.
Rangers manager Gerrard has outlined what the two wingers will add to the team for the 2019-20 campaign, and has explained why he made the decisions to sign the duo.
The Scottish Sun quotes Gerrard as saying: “I think Jordan and Jake give us more options in the final third. They give us pace, they give us power. They can both create, they can both score.
“I think at important times this season when I’ve looked to change options or bring people off the bench, I think we’ve lacked a bit of quality in the final third.
“So that’s the reason behind it. Two players with big potential, hopefully they’ll come here and fulfil it.”

Important players
Both Hastie and Jones are promising and talented young wingers who has been playing well in the Scottish Premiership this season, and they will enhance the quality in the Rangers team.
According to WhoScored, Hastie has scored four goals in 29 Scottish Premiership matches for Kilmarnock and Hastie has scored six goals in 15 Scottish Premiership games for Motherwell this season.
