Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox club Glasgow Ranges and Neil Lennon’s Celtic have been linked with Joe Aribo.

Gerrard has also revealed that he has held face-to-face discussions with Aribo, and that the 22-year-old midfielder is having a medical with the Ibrox club.
The Liverpool legend has spoken of Rangers beating clubs from the Premier League and the Championship in England to the signature of the 22-year-old midfielder.
Gerrard has also suggested that he thinks that Neil Lennon’s Celtic tried to sign Aribo this summer and made an offer.
According to The Daily Mail, Celtic, Rangers and Southampton are interested in the former Staines Town midfielder, who is leaving Charlton this summer after guiding them to promotion to the Championship from League One this summer.
Gerrard told The Daily Mail about Aribo: “I don’t think it’s any secret we’re trying to get Joe Aribo over the line. He’s currently having a medical so that one could be imminent.
“We believe there was Premier League and European clubs chasing Joe, which is no surprise. There were Championship clubs in the hat as well and it obviously came out in the public domain that Celtic made him an offer as well so if we manage to get that one over the line it would be a big coup for us.
“I had a couple of face to face meetings with him and the chance to sell Rangers and what we’re trying to do. He’s as excited as I am about the situation.”

Good signing for Joe Aribo?
Aribo is a very good and dynamic young midfielder who would be a good signing for Rangers, especially on a free transfer.
The 22-year-old is going to make Rangers’ midfielder better, and his presence will enhance the Gers’ chances of challenging Celtic for the Scottish Premiership title next season.
