Glasgow Rangers manager Steven Gerrard suggests that Jordan Rossiter will leave Ibrox on loan in the January transfer window.

Gerrard has also suggested that former Liverpool midfielder Jordan Rossiter will leave Rangers on loan this month.
The former England international midfielder has said that the 21-year-old is in touch with his agents about finding the right club to join during the second half of the season.
Gerrard told The Daily Record: “Don’t be surprised if a couple go out. We’ve been quite open to players and respectful. Jordan Rossiter is obviously one of them. There’s a chance he could go out on loan.”
The Rangers manager added about Rossiter in The Herald: “He’s in touch with his reps about finding the right club to go to.”
Struggles at Rangers
Rossiter joined Rangers in the summer of 2016 after leaving Liverpool at the end of the 2015-16 campaign.
Much was expected of the 21-year-old when he arrived at Ibrox, but the midfielder has had injury concerns and has made only a handful of appearances for the Rangers first team.
The former England Under-19 international’s performances when he has been given chances have not been great.
It is clear that Rossiter needs a run of games to get anywhere to his best, and given the competition for places in the Rangers midfielder, the youngster is unlikely to get much playing time at Ibrox this season.
